Our guides are researched and updated by people with direct knowledge of the island. We check information regularly, but Crete changes — businesses open and close, ferry schedules shift, and conditions on beaches and trails evolve from season to season. Reader feedback is one of the most useful ways we catch errors before they cause problems.

We are also happy to hear from local businesses, guesthouses and guides who believe their work deserves a mention in our editorial coverage. We assess every suggestion on its merits and against our editorial criteria.
